Temple Hoyne Buell Hall

Built in 1995, the Perkins + Will designed building houses architecture, landscape architecture, and urban planning students as well as faculty and staff.  Ralph Johnson, principal of Perkins + Will and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign alum, served as lead designer; he aimed to pay tribute to the existing classic buildings at the University of Illinois while introducing a fresh, modern style to the campus.

Architecture Building

Lying just north and west of Temple Hoyne Buell Hall, the Architecture Building is another iconic Georgian building on the University of Illinois' campus.  The building is host to architecture students, staff, and faculty.  In addition, the building holds a photography studio and the Ricker Library of Architecture and Art.

Architecture East Annex One

Housing a number of facilities, the Architecture Annex contains a new woodshop, large studio spaces for undergraduate students, and top of the line technology including four laser cutters and a computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine.

Woodshop

Newly located in the Architecture Annex, the woodshop houses a number of power tools and space for students to build and develop their projects.
