Architecture Course Information
The School’s four teaching faculties (Design, History & Preservation, Practice & Technology and Structures) offer a broad array of courses. Because of the professional nature of the School’s curriculum, only a limited number of courses are available to students from other disciplines. Some instructors may provide additional online resources for their classes. A list of course websites is available below. Supplemental descriptions of seminar and studio topics is also available. The Illinois precursor of Gargoyle was the Psi Mu Fraternity, which was founded in the Spring of 1914. The fraternity reorganized as the second branch of the Gargoyle Society with approval from the Alpha Chapter at Cornell University.
