Thanks to the generosity of our alumni, the School is able to offer an exceptional number of fellowships, scholarships, medals, prizes and awards to entering and continuing students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels. These awards recognize excellence in artistic, technical and scholarly aspects of the discipline and service to the school or the profession. Additional awards recognize the continuing achievements of alumni and faculty members.

In 2002 AIAS Illinois proudly hosted FORUM, the annual meeting of the American Institute of Architecture Students, in Chicago. Entitled City Reborn, the event welcomed more than 1450 students, professionals, and academics from around the world.
