Ground was broken earlier this month on the Vista Tower development in Chicago, designed by Studio Gang Architects, a firm founded and led by Illinois alumna Jeanne Gang (BSAS 1986). As reported in the Chicago Tribune, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat states that Vista Tower will be the world’s tallest skyscraper designed by a woman-owned firm. And at almost 1,200 feet, the building will be the third tallest in Chicago.
