UIUC Alumnus Wins First Runner-up in International Design Competition
Paul Preissner (BsArch 1996 UIUC, MArch 2000 Columbia University) from Qua'Virarch in Chicago was just awarded the 1st runner-up (2nd prize) to design the new Korean Museum of Pre-History. This was a major international competition with 346 entries from over 40 different countries. The museum construction has a budget of US$ 200Million, and is to be 5000 square meters in size.
