Thomas Kamm has designed scenery for the world premier of The End of Cinematics , to be presented at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts on September 17, 2005 at 7:30 pm. The production, conceived by New York composer Mikel Rouse, will be a multi-media spectacle combining live and previously filmed segments and featuring a compelling environmental sound installation. Following the Krannert premier, The End of Cinematics will embark on an international tour with stops including California, New York and the Liverpool Festival. In addition, this semester Mr. Kamm is leading a studio of graduate designers who are working with the Krannert leadership to develop a vision for Krannert Center North, a new complex linking performance with cutting edge technology and extending Krannert Center's educational/ professional mission into the 21st century.
