Martin Wolf, FAIA, works nationally and internationally on a broad range of building types, including commercial, civic, transportation, mixed-use, and educational facilities. Mr. Wolf's work reflects his ongoing interest in and examination of the role that structure, technology and transparency play in creating the new generation of buildings. These interests are clearly expressed in the design for the recently completed 340-on-the-Park, a LEED certified 67-story residential tower in Chicago; in his winning entry for the US Department of Energy's Sun Wall Competition in Washington DC, and in the dramatic Mandarin Oriental Chicago, a 62-story mixed-use luxury hotel and condominium tower.

Following graduation from Cornell University, Mr. Wolf worked 19 years for Murphy/Jahn as Senior Design Principal, leading some of the firm's most recognized aviation and office projects. Mr. Wolf joined Solomon Cordwell Buenz in 1997.

Mr. Wolf is the recipient of numerous design awards and is a frequent juror and lecturer.  He is a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects, on the Board of Overseers at Illinois Institute of Technology, a member of the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitats, and a Peer Reviewer for the General Services Administration's Design Excellence Program.
