Events - School of Architecture
In architecture, classroom and studio based instruction is complemented by a wide range of extracurricular programs and events sponsored by the School of Architecture, student organizations and other units on campus. The School regularly presents lectures and exhibits that bring distinguished architects and scholars to campus. Our faculty and students also participate in research and symposia nationally and internationally. Each spring the School's Career Expo attracts representatives of small and large firms from across the Midwest.

The Illinois precursor of Gargoyle was the Psi Mu Fraternity, which was founded in the Spring of 1914. The fraternity reorganized as the second branch of the Gargoyle Society with approval from the Alpha Chapter at Cornell University.
