Incoming Freshman, Robert Moy, is one of only two students nationwide to receive the 2014 AIA/F Diversity Advancement Scholarship. He recently graduated high school with a perfect 5.0 GPA and will be attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign this fall to pursue his bachelor's degree in architecture.

Congratulations to recent grad, Tyler Schwede, for receiving the 2014-2015 HKS Healthcare Fellowship. The HKS Healthcare Fellowship is a one-year program created to recognize and encourage aspiring, talented recent graduates committed to improving the built healthcare environment through projects, as well as conducting a healthcare-specific study on a topic of interest.

Fifteen University of Illinois students have received Gilman scholarships to study abroad this summer and in fall semester, placing the University of Illinois atop the Big Ten and in the top 20 in the country for Gilman Scholarship recipients during these terms.

ACSA is partnering with Howard University, School of Architecture and Design with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, School of Architecture to lead a public-interest design education and service-learning project in Petite-Riviere-de-Nippes, Haiti. With support from the Fetzer Institute, the 2014 Haiti Summer Studio is the continuation of the 2011 Haiti Idea Challenge where students were asked to design permanent solutions to rebuild the infrastructure, cities, and neighborhoods affected by the 2010 earthquake.
