Notes (1) A 5-semester sequence of architectural design is required for this 4-year degree program. Therefore, a student should plan to transfer upon the completion of the above freshman program unless the community college offers a sophomore program (including architectural design) which has been approved by the UIUC. The Foreign Language requirement for graduation is satisfied by:
Credit for college algebra and/or trigonometry completed in college as preparation for analytic geometry and calculus will not apply toward this degree. Limited facilities necessitate a quota for the admission of transfer students. A minimum cumulative average of 3.2 for transferable courses is usually required to meet the competition for such admission. (2) At most institutions, a full year (2 semesters) of English composition must be completed to transfer as the equivalent of RHET 105 at UIUC. (3) The equivalents of these courses must be successfully completed prior to transfer. (4) The general education website: http://courses.uiuc.edu/gened lists the general education requirements and all the courses which fulfill those requirements.
